Privacy
Plain-language privacy.
Auditron collects as little as possible: an email if you sign in, the URL you ask us to audit, and the report we produce. Here is the whole picture.
What we collect
- Your email address — only if you sign in (magic-link authentication) or ask to be notified when an audit finishes.
- The URL you submit for auditing, and the audit results we generate for it (screenshots, measurements, the report).
- Basic operational logs (request IPs for rate-limiting and abuse prevention).
What we do with it
- Emails are used to sign you in, notify you when your report is ready, and maintain your credit balance. Nothing else — no marketing lists, no resale.
- Audit results exist so you can view your report at its permanent link. Reports are not listed publicly; only people with the link can open them.
- We audit the publicly accessible pages of the site you submit — the same pages any visitor's browser would load.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties.
- We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie is the session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- We don't store or even see payment card details — purchases are processed by Polar, our merchant of record, which handles payment data, taxes, and receipts under its own privacy policy.
Retention & removal
- Audit reports and account data are retained so your permanent links keep working.
- Want an account, email address or report deleted? Contact us and we'll remove it.
Findings in audit reports are automated guidance, not professional advice. Questions or removal requests: contact the operator via the email on your receipt or sign-in message.
