Terms
Plain-language terms.
Using Auditron means agreeing to these terms. They are short on purpose — here is the whole deal.
What Auditron is
- Auditron produces automated website audit reports: a live browser visits the publicly accessible pages of a site you submit, an AI reviews what it finds, and you receive a scored, evidence-led report.
- Findings are automated guidance produced by software. They are not professional, legal, accessibility-compliance, or security-consulting advice, and no report guarantees completeness — an audit can miss issues and can occasionally flag something debatable.
Your account and credits
- Sign-in is by magic link to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure.
- Paid audits consume credits. Credits are tied to your account, are not transferable, and (except where the refund policy says otherwise) are redeemable only for audits — they have no cash value.
- Purchases are processed by our merchant of record (Polar), which is the seller of record for the transaction and handles payment, applicable VAT and sales taxes, and receipts.
Acceptable use
- Only submit sites you own or are authorized to have audited. Audits load a site's public pages roughly like a normal visitor's browser would — but you must still have the right to request that.
- Don't use Auditron to attack, overload, or probe sites, to evade security controls, or to audit content that is illegal to access.
- We may rate-limit, refuse, or reverse audits that abuse the service, and suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these terms.
Service limits and changes
- Audits depend on the target site being reachable by automated browsers. Sites that block automation may produce partial or failed audits; failed paid audits are automatically refunded in credits.
- We may change the audit's checks, page counts, pricing, and features over time. Changes never retroactively reduce credits you already hold.
- The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Reports and content
- You own your reports and may share them via their permanent links. Reports are not listed publicly; anyone with a link can view that report.
- We may use anonymized, aggregate statistics (never your report contents with identifying details) to improve the service.
Contact
- Questions about these terms: contact the operator via the email on your receipt or sign-in message. See also the Privacy and Refund policies linked below.
